sushi fish is not cooking fish. found that out today. my entire kitchen smells like icky fish. i LOVE sushi, but 'day old' sushi (real sushi - slabs of raw fish) didn't sound appetizing. had already eaten what i knew was ahi (my favorite) and salmon...didn't know what the other fish was, so i cooked some mystery fish. yuck. next time i will need to order the sushi that comes labeled with those little toothpick signs.
